KathaKhazana is Katha’s venture into technology-based pedagogy. Katha’s first storytelling app is a step towards creating a digitally literate nation. It is inspired by Katha’s core beliefs of:
-StoryPedagogyTM: Backed by three decades of research, KathaKhazana is based on Katha’s StoryPedagogyTM, with its focus on story as a creative, critical thinking tool
for learning. It promotes Active Story-Based Learning (ASBL), encouraging children to think, ask, discuss, and act.
-Each Child Teach a Child (ECTC): 50% of the 300m children in the country cannot read at grade level. Through ECTC, the one half that can read will teach the other half that cannot. So, every member of the community takes the responsibility of teaching a child to read.
