This app is in serious need of a back button. Not sure why it’s lacking something that simple.

Frustrating experience

As other users have noted, scrolling is not great, and removal of the ability to swipe right to back a screen is annoying. When almost every other app out there recognizes this as standard for iOS, why not have that feature? My biggest pet peeve is the audio take-over. I’m often listening to a podcast or music and get a wild hare to see what’s new with modcloth, but it stops whatever you’re listening to, and even if you restart the media you had on, it will continue to stop it as you visit new pages. It is infuriating, and is the no. 1 reason I leave the app and don’t buy anything. Please address this unnecessary audio issue! If browsing in a shopping app is hard or frustrating, it’s not working. Do you want our money or not??

Unable to listen to music while using the app

Every single time I’m using Spotify while using this app, it interrupts my music and goes silent. When I check my phone to see what’s “playing”, it’s showing that ModCloth is playing some hidden audio? This makes the app unusable to me since I’m almost always listening to music or a podcast while doing my online shopping.

Terrible App

I can’t stand the ModCloth app. It doesn’t navigate well, And I don’t think the filters work well (especially for size availability). Worst for me, the app interrupts the audio on my phone. That means I can’t listen to anything on my headphones while I’m shopping the app. This all made especially annoying because there are deals offered exclusively on the app. So I either shop on the website that doesn’t make me crazy, or fight with the app to get a deal.

No outside sound?!

I don’t understand why the app is playing muted sounds? I can’t play my podcast while scrolling which is incredible frustrating.

The app is bad.

Two issues which are annoying enough that I never bother to shop on it: 1) why the f- is the back button in the lower right of my screen, and not in the upper left, like every other browser and app on the planst? 2) no idea why the modcloth app thinks it’s okay to take over my audio. it pauses my music every time. extremely stupid, and also rude. redesign time!
