The National Concert Hall, is rated by performing artists as one of the finest concert halls in Europe, attracting over 330,000 concert-goers a year. It is one of the leading venues in the music and entertainment sector and boasts a programme of the very best of classical musicians and orchestras from all over the world, to leading traditional Irish performers, opera, musicals and jazz to family concerts. Resident at the National Concert Hall are the RTƒ National Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Choir Ireland, the Irish Baroque Orchestra, Music Network (including Music Generation) as well as some of Ireland's leading singer songwriters including Cathy Davey, Neil Hannon, Glenn Keating, Paul Noonan and James Vincent McMorrow. Education and community outreach also forms a key part of the activities of the Hall with recognition of its key role as a music educator for all ages. Projects span across workshops for toddlers through to orchestras for older people, music therapy in hospitals to development projects in care homes.
