In 2000 Skins Cosmetics was founded in Amsterdam. Located in the charming nine streets shopping area, this beauty boutique introduced a completely new concept to the Dutch market. Offering exclusive, high quality niche brands in a spacious, light environment. A cosmetics ïheavenÍ, where skincare, perfume and make-up experts provide the highest level of service in their customersÍ search for the perfect product. The press and Dutch retail organisations raved about the concept, soon several prestigious retail awards were won (for outstanding retail achievements; one award for Innovation and one for Service). The companyÍs activities expanded to a small retail chain of 10 stores with a portfolio of 70 brands and business to business activities with three distribution models.
