Life plus app is fully synchronised with www.myHIV.org.uk, winner of the Guardian newspaper’s Public Service Award. Life plus and myHIV.org.uk have been developed by Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading and largest HIV charity with 30 years of experience. We worked with a national panel of people living with HIV, medical experts, support staff from across the UK and in partnership with other leading charities, NAM and The Food Chain to bring you a unique integrated offering across the app and website. Both have been funded by the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF). Everything is free including online support from qualified professionals. FREE registration on Life plus gives you full access to myHIV.org.uk online services too.
HOW LIFE PLUS CAN HELP YOU:
Life plus gives you quick links to help you find trusted information and support across the UK. The app contains a live feed of medications and information on side effects, so you can be sure you stay up to date.
•Get discreet, free, twice daily meds reminders by SMS or by email if you choose.
•Get free appointment reminders in the same way.
•Log your blood counts on the app as soon as you get them in the clinic and have the data securely logged on your account. See how your medication is working!
•If you are at your clinic and your doctor or nurse gives you some advice, you can make a note in Life plus then access it at home on your computer if you want to.
•You can log notes by useful categories. On the website you can download a PDF of your notes, by category, such as ‘Side effect I’ve experienced’ – so you can easily share them with your health professional if you choose.

Registering on Life plus gives you free full member access to myHIV.org.uk website, which provides:
• comprehensive, TRUSTED INFORMATION accredited through the Information Standard (supported by the Department of Health).
•access to FREE ONLINE COUNSELLING, ADVICE and SUPPORT via online chat.
• You can also join the UK’s LARGEST ONLINE FORUM of people living with HIV. We have over 1,500 forum members, so you can share experiences and advice.
APP AND WEBSITE ARE SECURELY SYNCHRONISED
Our app-to-site synchronisation of your data is unique. You can make a note about things to remember to ask your doctor, either on your computer or on your phone (even when you are offline). Next time you go online the app and site will synchronise so you’ll have all your notes, blood counts, appointments and reminder settings with you.
PRIVACY
The app has been designed to be discreet on your phone, which is why it’s called just ‘Life plus’. The app is password protected, you can choose whether it will remember you or ask for your password every time you open the app. You can use the site and the app without giving your name if you choose to remain anonymous, but we do ask for some information about you so we can understand and demonstrate who the app and the site are helping. A full Privacy Statement is provided within the app and is available on our website. We take your privacy and the security of your data seriously. Data you store on the app - about your medication, blood counts, notes or reminders - is fully synchronised with the website. It is encrypted in transit and securely stored. Life plus gives you a unique level of control to keep track no matter where you are.
