Great video.

With the ability to download lectures for offline viewing this app is great. You can also stream courses from within the app and the app notes what lecture you are up to as well as the part of the lecture you are up to. The course book reader is fine except it doesn't have chapters book marked meaning you have to scroll through each time you want to review it.

No variable speed play

I love the great courses. But this app is not useful to me because I listen to lectures at double speed.

Great Courses App

It's great to have an app so I can watch my Great Courses on my iPad. I enjoy the last few courses this way. And there's the fly in the ointment. I've purchased many courses on CD's over the years. It would be lovely to have the option to have them on the app. I'd be willing to pay a fee for that, say, about half or less of the sale price. I've paid for them once, of course, but would not mind paying a small fee to have these courses available to view online.

Great Courses

I've been a Great Courses fan for close to 15 years and snow my kids are even starting to enjoy some of the lectures. Many a long commute have been bearable thanks to the lectures. The app works great and I definitely recommend the Great Courses.

Excellent source of information.

I have really enjoyed most of these courses. The professors are knowledgeable and very capable of sharing their knowledge well. The app works mostly well. Flexible ways to use from downloading to phone and iPad to discs for TV for better viewing of videos.

The download cloud button is too small

Excellent app but: trying to download often toggles the description and takes several attempts.
