Which?
With 60 years experience - Which? has your consumer interests at heart. We campaign to protect your consumer rights, review products and offer independent advice on a wealth of subjects. Which? has certainly come a long way from our humble beginnings in 1957 when the first Which? magazine was published from a converted garage in Bethnal Green. 60 years later, we are now the largest consumer body in the UK, with over 617,000 members that subscribe to our magazine, and over 254,000 online subscribers - and this is constantly growing. Our mission statement is to 'exist to make individuals as powerful as the organisations they have to deal with in their daily lives.' We are a registered charity, and we plough everything we do back into consumer interests and services for our members. The power we have is based partially on the fact that Which? is completely independent - we have no owners, shareholders or Government departments on our back: this means we work on behalf of you, the consumer, and nobody else so you're assured you're getting the very best advice that is available. A good app so . . .

I would like to be able to choose to have just the app and not the paper copy as well. This would hopefully cost somewhat less than the approximate £120 a year that having both versions does.

Difficult to search

Maybe I don't understand what the app is for or I am just stupid but I really struggle to find the Which? Best Buy of anything I have tried to find.

Helpful and useful

The comprehensive content of the printed magazine is complemented by the information provided by the on line weekly edition. Both are helpful when making decisions and enable readers to keep up to date with consumer issues.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
CoreMedia
The Core Media framework defines the media pipeline used by AVFoundation and other high-level media frameworks found on Apple platforms. Use Core Media's low-level data types and interfaces to efficiently process media samples and manage queues of media data.
AVFoundation
The AV Foundation framework provides an Objective-C interface for managing and playing audio-visual media in iOS and OS X applications.
Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters. The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool. ImageKit provides user interface support for browsing, editing, and saving images, showing slideshows, and browsing and previewing Core Image filters. PDFKit is a technology that allows applications to display and manipulate PDF documents.
Security Framework
Secure the data your app manages. Protect information and control access to your app.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
