Description:

The Lupus Companion is a symptom, medication and appointment diary for people living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). The Lupus Companion makes it easy for you to record how you are feeling day-to-day
and to present the information to your doctors in an easy to read format. The more you use it, the more it helps. Developed by doctors, with significant input from patients, the app has multiple features that will help you and your doctor monitor your flares and inform your treatment plan.

You can:
* Track your pain, fatigue, rashes and other symptoms as they occur. With the simple swipe of a finger you can record the severity of your symptoms on a scale of 1 to 10.
* Take a quick questionnaire every three months to monitor your overall disease activity.
* Keep an accurate record of your condition.
* Help all of your doctors share the same information about your care.
* Keep track of your medications and dosages.
* Keep your providers' names, contact information and notes in one place.
* Keep track of your appointments.
* Get answers to basic questions about lupus.
* Share the information with your doctors. When you do, your doctors can:
--View your entries over time in a graph.
--Review your answers to a validated, functional instrument for monitoring disease activity (Systemic Lupus Activity Questionnaire or SLAQ).
--Keep track of your medications and dosages.
--Know when you have appointments with other doctors.
--Possibly help you identify triggers and trends that affect your health.

Terrible!

This is the worst app I've ever used! Lupies don't waste your time!

May delete -undecided, just OK

I'm not sure about this app yet. I like the idea but there are other symptom trackers that offer a lot more. Seeing this is specifically for lupus I wanted the app. I would suggest camera access for symptom tracker. I'd like to keep record of skin problems and malar rash. Would be great to show the Doctors. If I decide to delete I will check back in the future for updates. Over all - undecided.

Good app, but needs a few things to be great!

I like this app for the most part, and the features it has work well. However, it would be very helpful to be able to generate 1 graph that combined all my symptoms, as I don't find viewing them separately very useful. I would also really like the option to attach a photo when making an entry of a symptom, as I keep a photo diary of skin lesions for disability reasons, because these are one of my worst symptoms.

Nice symptom/provider tracker

I like how I can add meds, providers, appointments. It would be easier if the provider listing would sync with the calendar. I don't know if anyone else thinks about this, but weather & diet are thought to cause flares. If we had a way to jot down notes & possibly barometric changes, I think that would be a plus. Thank you for the app!
Accounts Framework
The Accounts framework provides access to user accounts stored in the Accounts database. An account stores the login credentials of a particular service, such as Twitter, that can be used as authentication for the service. By implementing the Accounts framework into your app, you do not need to be responsible for storing account logins yourself. Instead, the user can grant access for your app to use their account login credentials, bypassing the need to type their username and password. If no account for a particular service exists in the user’s Accounts database, you can let them create and save an account from within your app.
Address Book
The Address Book framework provides access to a centralized contacts database, called the Address Book database, that stores a user’s contacts. Applications such as Mail and Messages use this database to present information about known and unknown persons.
AVFoundation
The AV Foundation framework provides an Objective-C interface for managing and playing audio-visual media in iOS and OS X applications.
CFNetwork
CoreBluetooth Framework
The Core Bluetooth framework provides the classes needed for your iOS and Mac apps to communicate with devices that are equipped with Bluetooth low energy wireless technology.
Core Data
Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Image
Core Image is an image processing and analysis technology designed to provide near real-time processing for still and video images.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.
CoreText
Core Text is an advanced, low-level technology for laying out text and handling fonts.
