OUR STORY - Our story began 25 years ago when two moms couldnÍt find a comfortable or stylish nursing bra. So what did they do? They made their own at their kitchen table using some extra leopard print fabric and an understanding of what nursing moms really want. From their passion, their dedication and yes, their BRAVADO came our first runaway success: The Original Nursing Bra. This early success led to our vision to make nursing bras infinitely more comfortable and stylish while supporting new nursing moms through all of the highs and lows of breastfeeding. WeÍre proud to be the first to combine exceptional design with a nurturing and supportive community. We're also incredibly proud that we continue to shape the nursing apparel landscape in more than 30 countries worldwide. Sure, some things have changed since our early days; mostly the addition of many wonderful styles. At the same time, it's equally true that some things remain exactly as it did from day one: our commitment to make nursing bras infinitely more comfortable and stylish, and to support new nursing moms along their breastfeeding journey. Bravado Designs Ownership: Starting out as an independent company back in 1992, Bravado Designs was purchased by Medela in 2011 and for 5 years, we worked together to help offer moms a total solution to help with her breastfeeding journey. In 2016, in an effort to streamline our focus on delivering the most comfortable and stylish nursing bras to new and expecting moms, Bravado Designs separated from Medela and is now once again, an independently led organization. We continue to be dedicated to designing and manufacturing beautiful and comfortable maternity and nursing bras that will inspire every new mom to breastfeed and help support her on her breast feeding journey.
