Communication Service for the Deaf, Inc. (CSD) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and providing technologies and services that benefit the deaf and hard of hearing community. CSD's mission is to create greater opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing individuals to reach their full potential. Through global leadership and the development of innovative technologies, CSD provides tools conducive to a positive and fully integrated life. CSD helps break through the barriers created for deaf and hard of hearing people due to lack of communication access. We understand the importance of effective communication, and we appreciate the value of a qualified interpreter. With staff who know the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing firsthand, CSD has been a leading human services and technology innovator from the very beginning. • Интерактивная и двуязычная (Русская Жестовая Речь/ Русский) аппликация разработана для визуального обучения глухих детей возрасте от 3 и до 7 лет и их семей.
• Созданная по мотивам русской народной сказки, аппликация пересказана в русской жестовой речи и представлена в печатной форме.

Содержание приложение:
Классическая народная сказка «Репка», пересказана на новый лад, и использована в качестве инструмента для двуязычного обучения детей и детей с нарушением слуха. Как и в оригинале сказки, дедушка, его семья и все обитатели дома, пытаются вытащить из земли выросшую репу. Что из этого вышло, юные читатели и их родные откроют для себя и данной обучающей видео приложение. Дети, не только освоят для себя два способа общения (жестовую и печатную речь), но и улучшат свое знание грамматики родной речи.
