Childhood friends who grew up together in Brandon, Manitoba, Rick and Craig opened the first Urban Barn on the corner of 12th and Cambie in Vancouver, BC back in 1990. The Urban Barn name came from the look of that original store, which boasted rustic wooden floors and doors that were reminiscent of an old barn. We now have over 50 stores, from BC to Quebec and are the oasis of home happiness. We are informative, creative, helpful and pressure-free. That is our promise to our customers and to ourselves.
