YogaFit, founded in 1994 by Beth Shaw, is the largest yoga school (Yoga Alliance certified) in the world, with over 200,000 instructors trained on six continents.

In 2010 Beth Shaw partnered with Lisa Greenbaum to create YogaFit Canada making YogaFit yoga teacher trainings more readily available to Canadians.

YogaFit offers a wide variety of yoga teacher programs (200RYT, 500RYT, 100hr YogaFit for Warriors, 100hr Ayurveda). YogaFit runs Mind Body Fitness Conferences, also known as urban yoga retreats, in major cities throughout Canada and the United States.

1) We offer Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher trainings throughout Canada, United States, Australia, and Internationally at various host locations (i.e GoodLife, YMCA, Community Centres, Yoga Studios, Hotels etc.)

2) Our yoga trainings are broken down into a modular format which means you can choose when and where you complete your training. Alternatively, we are offering our first Canadian 200hr RYT intensive in July 2015. The majority of our trainings consist of either 1, 2, or 4 days of interactive interdisciplinary yoga education allowing you to build on what you already know. Therefore our trainings are perfect for those who are looking to become a yoga instructor or for those who practice yoga regularly and would like to gain fundamental and philosophical yoga knowledge.

3)We will provide you with the tools (Seven Principles of Alignment, YogaFit Essence, Three Mountain Format) and skills (pose breakdown, transformational language, Sanskrit, yoga philosophy) to teach a safety and alignment-focused hatha-vinyasa based yoga class.
